It is not recommended that anyone walk barefoot on the old wood floors, on the wooden porches, or out in the yard.
Sometimes after very heavy rains the large puddle in the front yard is somewhat deep for short legs, as is the ditching intended to carry large volumes of water out of the yard.
Young children should be accompanied if they go close the edge of the Lake. Weakened places may develop into large holes.
Where some brush was buried in the yard is a sinkhole. If it is still there, stay clear of that.
You are more or less in the country. There are insects and animals everywhere. Most are harmless. Enjoy the variety.
Note that there are apparently squirrel-chewed places on our wooden rails and newel posts. This causes splinters, so be careful.
Hugging trees in the yard is not a good idea. Some have poison ivy climbing up them, despite all efforts to get rid of it.
Beware of fire ants.
Not available unless with permission by the owners at #8 Perry Farm Road. They have a right of way of 30 ft. from the Lake all the way around. The Lake does NOT belong to owners of 10, 12, or 14 Perry Farm properties.
